What TubeMind AI does
TubeMind AI is a Chrome extension for working with available YouTube captions: transcript search, timestamp navigation, active transcript highlighting, copying, timecodes, and optional AI summaries.
How to do it
- Open a public YouTube video with captions.
- Open TubeMind AI and let the transcript load.
- Type a word or phrase in transcript search.
- Select a matching segment to jump to that timestamp.
Why this is useful
Instead of repeatedly seeking through a long video, you can work with its text, locate the section you need, and return to the original timestamp when context matters.
Important limitation
Transcript features depend on captions being available for the YouTube video. AI summaries are optional and require user configuration of a compatible provider.
